Traylor Ranch Nature Reserve
Equestrian Trails - Bird Sanctuary - Nature -Wildlife Reserve
90 Acres of Prime Recreational Land located in Penryn California
On February 10, 1998 the Board of Supervisors approved the Traylor Ranch Nature Reserve. Thank you to the LBHA members that worked with the Traylors and the County to make this happen. Hurrah! The same afternoon, Supervisor Robert Weygandt and Placer County Parks Department representatives presented a granite plaque to the Traylor’s in recognition of their donation. This plaque will be mounted on a granite slap at the entrance to the Reserve. We are very grateful to the Traylor's for this generous donation of almost 90 acres. They also donated $1,000.00 to the Traylor Ranch Nature Reserve Fund to help with the project.
Traylor Ranch workdays will start up in March.
I would like to thank everyone who has come out and helped. Have you checked out our Traylor Ranch Facebook page? I post updates there and you are welcome to post comments as well. If you have a ride or walk at TRNR, take a photo and post it.

4th Saturday of the Month 8:00 am - noon
For work days we need weed-eaters, rodent hole filler-uppers, glass and metal picker-uppers!!! Useful tools are buckets, weed-eaters, pruning shears and shovels. It gets hot and there is no water so bring gloves, hat and water to drink. At 8am Dave will be at Humphrey Road Parking area and will give workday directions from there. If you come later and no-one is there then park and head to the central picnic area or call my mobile (916) 803-5654 -Dave Faoro.
